greetings

COVID-19, which has terrified people all over the world, has brought tremendous changes and crises in the lives of all of us. Among them, the travel market is enduring an unprecedented crisis in history. The world is changing faster than ever, without looking at the tightly closed sky road and sea road, and never getting lost. As we prepare for the post-coronavirus new normal era, we must lead a new paradigm of changing tourism. In an era more disconnected than ever, now is the time to seek 'connection' as a new method.

Although the past two years have seemed to stand still, our Korean Cultural Exchange Agency has used the time of crisis as medicine and further solidified its foundation. By converting from a non-profit organization in Incheon to an incorporated corporation of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, we plan to further expand our business area by further establishing ourselves as an international exchange organization representing Korea beyond Incheon. In addition, for more diverse and active cultural exchanges, the 'KCEA Korean International Art Troupe' was launched. The KCEA Korean International Art Troupe will play the role of a cultural ambassador who conveys the living Korean culture, and will engage in more independent and active cultural exchanges. In addition, we will promote tourism business for more professional and high-quality exchanges by establishing 'Korea Cultural Exchange Tourism Co., Ltd.'.

As the saying goes, “Hwan-wi-ri Lee (以患爲利), which means to turn anxiety into a crisis, we want to make 2022 the year of leap forward after passing a time of crisis and pain.” Since its inception, the Korea Cultural Exchange Foundation has endlessly presented a new identity for exchange as an 'International Exchange Specialized Organization'. It is a path that some people have been walking on, discovering endless possibilities in things that some have said was difficult and that they were not. International exchange is a meeting between people and people, and between countries and countries. We want to work with more professionalism and trust in this work. It's a step ahead and it's not an easy task, but we will run with that much responsibility. Entering its 11th year in 2022, the Korean Cultural Exchange Center will do its best to connect Korea in the world and the world in Korea. We hope for your support and support for the steps taken by the business group in 2022.
